1. Definitions

In these terms, the following words have the meanings described:

• "Bua Horology" — the watch repair workshop operated at 47/2 Soi Sukhumvit 31, Khlong Toei Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110, Thailand.
• "Service" — any watch repair, servicing, or assessment carried out by Bua Horology.
• "User" — any person who contacts Bua Horology, visits the workshop, or uses this website.
• "Watch" — any timepiece brought to the workshop or described in an enquiry.
• "Agreement" — the arrangement formed when a user submits an enquiry or brings a watch to the workshop.

2. Acceptance of terms

By submitting a contact form on this website, sending an email enquiry, or bringing a watch to the workshop, you agree to these terms and conditions. You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or are acting with the knowledge and consent of a legal guardian, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a service arrangement.

3. Service description

Bua Horology offers three watch repair services: a Quartz and Battery Visit (฿ 4,800), a Modern Mechanical Tune-Up (฿ 8,500), and an Antique Pocket Watch Care service (฿ 13,500). Full descriptions of each service are available on the Solutions page of this website. Services are available to persons in Thailand. Watches may be brought to the workshop in person during opening hours.

Opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00–18:00, and Sunday 11:00–15:00. The workshop is closed on Mondays.

4. User responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information about the watch and your contact details. You confirm that you are the owner of the watch or have the authorisation of the owner to bring it for service. You will collect the completed watch within thirty days of notification of completion, unless a different arrangement has been agreed in writing. Watches not collected after sixty days may be subject to a storage fee.

5. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, images, and design — is the property of Bua Horology. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any part of it without written permission. Service documents and written assessments produced for your watch are provided for your personal use and reference.

6. Payment terms

Service prices are stated in Thai Baht (THB). Payment is due on collection of the watch. Payment may be made in cash or by bank transfer. No work will begin until a written assessment has been agreed. Any additional costs arising from unforeseen work will be communicated and agreed before being incurred.

If you decide not to proceed with the service after an assessment has been prepared but before work has begun, no charge will be made for the assessment.

7. Service-specific terms

The timelines quoted for each service — two to five working days for quartz visits, one to two weeks for mechanical tune-ups, four to eight weeks for antique pocket watch care — are estimates. They may vary depending on parts availability and the condition found during service. Bua Horology will communicate any significant variation in writing.

No cosmetic changes will be made to a watch without the owner's explicit agreement. For antique pocket watch restorations, written updates will be provided at each meaningful stage and any decision affecting the appearance of the piece will be referred back to the owner before being taken.

8. Disclaimers

Bua Horology will carry out all work with reasonable care and skill. However, we cannot make assurances about specific outcomes for watches in unknown condition, particularly antique pieces where the internal state is not visible without disassembly. The written assessment will describe what is found and what is proposed, but does not commit to a particular level of performance after service.

This website is provided for information purposes. Content is accurate to the best of our knowledge but may not reflect changes in service scope or pricing. Current pricing should be confirmed at the time of enquiry.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Thai law, Bua Horology's liability to you for any claim arising from a service visit is limited to the amount paid for that visit. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. This does not affect any statutory rights you may have under the Thai Consumer Protection Act or related legislation.

10. Dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. In the event of a dispute, we will first attempt informal resolution through direct communication. If that is not successful, disputes may be referred to the relevant consumer protection authority or Thai civil courts, which have jurisdiction over matters arising from services provided in Bangkok.

11. General provisions

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Bua Horology regarding the use of this website and the provision of watch repair services. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect. Failure to enforce any right does not waive that right for the future.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the website or services following a material change indicates acceptance.
